dain

born and raised in brooklyn,ny, the elusive dain is considered to be one of the more influential artists to emerge from the nyc street art movement. dain faithfully produces works that are both evocative and beautiful in their composition. his love for old hollywood glam is evident in much of his work. his trademark 'circle and drip' around the eye still remains a mystery. this, along with his roots in graffiti, create a gritty yet delicate style that is all his own. dain's art has been featured in galleries in new york, miami, chicago, london, paris and montreal.

sofia minson

from her studio in auckland, the sofia minson creates bold portrait and landscape oil paintings, inspired by the land, myths and people of aotearoa and her own mixed māori, swedish and irish heritage. Much of her childhood was spent in samoa, sri lanka and china and her art celebrates the unity she sees amongst richly diverse cultures from around the world. for ten years sofia’s work has been exhibited and collected in the united states, europe and throughout new zealand. she has won three national art awards and been a three-time finalist in the adam portraiture awards.

slikor

slikor is a sydney based artist, mixed media creative, graffiti writer, traveller and photographer. he exhibits regularly and has painted throughout the world; sometimes in surprising locations. in june two thousand and ten he left australia to create a series of international art projects tied together by the theme of human interconnection. to compliment this idea, slikor chose to work in developing countries that are arguably some of western media's most misunderstood. the series included projects in beijing (china), lahore (pakistan), tehran (iran) and istanbul (turkey).

jody steel is a twenty year old artist hollywood, florida. she grew up in various parts of south florida and decided to go to school in boston. she goes to emerson college and graduate in the summer of twenty fourteen. she started the thigh drawings during lectures. the desks were small and she still wanted to take notes, so she needed a new surface to draw on. she’s inspired by her environment more than anything. people, places, culture are all so inspiring to her.

violent and sexy is a playground that i created to fuck around in. born from the dimensionering aliens of the international space station art studio violent and sexy is my new dome that lives around the corner from the information super highway. it’s our online diary that doesn’t get used used to start fires on cold nights and will never be lost. while our mission statement should say something profound, profane and a little bit more we tend to keep it simple as we are already way to confused. - felix ackland.

louise is a writer who once spent an entire year writing one poem per day – an experience which, while worthwhile, is not one she would recommend. at the moment she is working on her first verse novel, called warm in the belly of a monster. when she’s not writing, louise can be found baking cakes and talking to cats in the street. she lives in sydney.

multi-award winning writer, maru delgado has published in utero and el autoeclipse del espejo. she's translated the poetry of plath and vivien with maria miranda for the collection lady lazarus. she has taken part in various international magazines, directed two urban intervention projects and studied at the school of literature and linguistics at the universidad nacional de san agustin in arequipa.

paulina's mother used to read her de sade at bedtime. she fell in the street early on and her mind has been in the gutter ever since. she grew into one of the most stunning specimens and helps cuties with their relationship problems.

nazir ekhlass (afghan lens) is a twenty five year old freelancer living in kabul, afghanistan. he spent most of his childhood as a refugee in pakistan and hates spiders and cockroaches. he graduated school yet was terrible in math and history. soon he will gain a bachelor’s degree. currently, he is busy working as a survey and research project manager in acsor surveys. he started his career as a graphic designer and started photography as a hobby approximately ten years ago with a small digital sony cybershop and has no idea when that hobby turned into passion and addiction. he created afghan lens page on facebook in october thousand and twelve.

yaman ibrahim is a full time malaysian photographer based in kuala lumpur. his experiences as an art teacher and a senior manager in creative and multimedia gave him the knack to appreciate the finer things that others overlook. his interest in photography brewed since childhood and now has materialized into a full time career.
