green lighting

mattias tello

when some Summers or some Mondays were going off
when I had to buy that cake
A titanic red-white-black spark from one world’s deepness
              I saw
a tender and warm spark that left behind so many songs
              and so many ages

it came across my eyes, at first,
then my nose my mouth
the middle of my brain
and shouted out the back of my head
leaving me unable to see anything that wasn’t the source of the spark
that sweet and brown source who watched me trying to step up again
and when I did
it was already gone

When some Summers or some Mondays were going off
I saw a spark
About a year ago I’m sitting here
With half of my head on the floor
And the other half waiting to be blow.
